August 28 is the confirmed launch date for HMD's Barbie Flip Phone.

 At the February MWC show, HMD verified that a phone with a Barbie motif existed.

In August, HMD plans to introduce a phone with the Barbie brand. The arrival of the new handset has been announced by the Finnish brand through X. Flip phone HMD Barbie will have the classic pink color palette of the Barbie dolls. It is anticipated to function on KaiOS or S30+. At this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February, HMD revealed plans to collaborate with toy manufacturer Mattel to release a phone with a Barbie theme. Originally, it was anticipated that the phone will launch in July.

Arriving in August is the HMD Barbie phone.

 
On August 28, the HMD Barbie flip phone will be released. The company released a poster featuring the X, showcasing the pink color of the smartphone that corresponds with the Barbie logo. The Barbie phone's features and price were previously disclosed, but interested parties can now register on HMD's website to get updates on the phone's developments.

HMD, which only offered phones under the Nokia brand, had stated that it would launch a flip phone using the Barbie name at MWC 2024 in February. Originally, July was supposed to be the launch month. For the flip phone, the business and Mattel have partnered.

Either S30+ or KaiOS is anticipated to power the HMD Barbie flip. In line with HMD's digital-detox approach, it is expected to be a conventional feature flip phone as opposed to a smartphone with social media app access.
