Introducing Mafia: Definitive Edition for Xbox Game Pass. The business revealed on Wednesday that Hangar 13, a remake of the 2002 classic, will be available on Microsoft's gaming subscription service starting on August 13. The game will be accessible through PC Game Pass, Game Pass Ultimate, and Game Pass for Console. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was the first Call of Duty game to be added to Game Pass on July 24. This latest inclusion follows.

Mafia: Definitive Edition is coming to the Game Pass library on August 13; this was confirmed by the official Xbox Game Pass account on X. Mafia: Definitive Edition is a total reconstruction of the original Mafia game, featuring additional gameplay elements, an extended story, upgraded vehicles, a new soundtrack, and more.
The game, which was published by 2K, was made accessible as part of a Mafia trilogy pack and was launched in 2020 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The open-world action-adventure game, which takes place in the made-up city of Lost Heaven, follows Tommy Angelo's journey from a menial taxi driver to a powerful crime boss.
In addition, the Mafia franchise's next installment is being developed by Hangar 13. In 2022, Roman HladÃk, general manager of Hangar 13, verified that the company has commenced work on a brand-new Mafia project. Hladik had stated at the time, "We're really excited to keep working on this beloved franchise and to entertain our players with new stories, even though it's a few years away and we can't share anything more right now."
Since then, there have been rumors that 2K is getting ready to reveal something regarding the Mafia franchise, but the publisher has not yet provided any information. Mafia 3, released in 2016, was the series' final mainstream game.
Additional Game Pass adds
It was predicted last week that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy would arrive on Game Pass on August 8. Microsoft hasn't revealed the name of the game subscription service just yet.
Earlier this month, the parent company of Xbox notable revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 would be available on Game Pass. On July 24, the first-person shooter became the first COD game available on Game Pass.
Xbox Game Pass is also set to add the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on day and date of launch on October 25.
